Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) Compliance Notification
Your Business May Be Non-Compliant with Federal Ownership Reporting Laws
A recent assessment indicates that your company may not be meeting the mandatory reporting requirements outlined in the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) — a federal law enforced by FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network), effective January 1, 2025.
This legislation requires most U.S. businesses to disclose their beneficial ownership information (BOI) to prevent money laundering, fraud, and illegal financing activities.
Does This Apply to You?
If your company is a:
LLC, Corporation, or similar U.S. entity | Registered before or after January 1, 2024 | Not exempt under CTA rules | Then you must file a BOI report with FinCEN.
What You Should Do Now:
Identify your beneficial owners | Submit your BOI Report via the official FinCEN portal | Keep information updated if ownership or structure changes | We strongly recommend addressing this immediately to avoid legal risk.
This is an informational alert.
It is the responsibility of the business owner to ensure full compliance with all federal reporting obligations under the Corporate Transparency Act.
